Christmas in the City In Your Heart

Hey ya, happy holidays!

Since it’s Christmas time, and everybody’s drinking egg (or soy/rice) nog and hugging each other, I’d like to get a little more….tactile with the post – then wax timeless-love with a few cues from “City In Your Heart,” (you can hear it here.)

So, let’s form a circle.  Just with your body language, ask the person next to you to…

come closer

touch the palm of my hand

will you go with me in?

in where nothing ends or begins

Ok, now that we’re all holding hands (dudes can hold hands too!  ;) , I wanna say… jeeze, what a year!

We got together and talked, danced, worked, hugged, repeated, went our separate ways, moved to different places, different countries even, or stayed in the same place amid it all.

I’m talkin’ to my family here – my parents and siblings, my soul family of friends, my community.

I’ve recently been in touch with a good friend I spent time with last season.  He’s now in Germany; and looking back together on last year, I got teary!  I think there are moments of significant connection and mutual recognition in life.  I call those moments love, and the memory and feeling of it lives on -

when we’re together

and when we’re apart

love lives forever

in the city in your heart

Do you feel me?

We are with each other.  Community and family are not always all right there; and I must say – right now it’s Christmas in the city in my heart! Those I love are all here, and I’m smiling about a never-boring, sometimes hard, long and rewarding year.

What was your year like?  Drop a quick comment and let me know!

If we’ve connected (and you know if we have), I’m thinking of you and sending love.  If we’ve yet to connect, let’s do it!  Leave a comment or reach me at parzival [at] parzivalmusic [dot]com.

Thanks for being in the circle!  Have some soy/rice nog I made :)

Namaste,

Parzival
